Friday, Aug 6, 2010 8pm, Doors open at 7:30
Tickets $16

Red House Records is pleased to announce the release of 500 Miles: The Blue Rock Sessions, from soulful songwriter Cliff Eberhardt. A deeply personal album, it follows his critically acclaimed The High Above and the Down Below, which was named the #5 album of the year by USA Today critic Elysa Gardner. This new album proves what his last indicated--that Cliff is in the midst of a personal and artistic renaissance. Tucked away in the Texas Hill Country, Cliff recorded the twelve tracks to 500 Miles at the legendary Blue Rock Studio with some of Austin’s hottest Players, helmed by acclaimed producer Billy Crockett , the recording is flavored by the many sounds of Texas--Americana blues, Tex-Mex and soulful roadhouse ballads.

KAREN SAVOCA with PETE HEITZMAN
www.karensavoca.com

Sunday, Oct 17, 2010 5pm, Doors open at 4:30
Tickets $16

Karn Savoca lives her life down in the dirt – she feels the moist, fertile soil of life between her toes, and digs her hands into the dark, rich earth.  She loves to make nourishing relationships grow by planting community everywhere she travels. She comes back from time to time to tend to the bounty that results.  Her songs and her music are her seeds, and her rich, supple, creative vocal style is her hoe.  – Bob McKillop, Maine

Her musical and life partner, Pete Heitzman, is her fellow farmer. His “inspired and transcendent guitar work is central to their signature sound.” You might hear a cello, a pedal steel or a rutting elk. With his broad pallet of tones and textures, he paints the ideal landscapes for Savoca's engaging songs.
